Precious in the Sight of the Lord

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones. (Psalm 116:15)
Today we received the mix of sad and happy news that a godly, young woman that we have been praying for went home to her Lord. It was sad news because she leaves behind a loving, devoted husband and three young sons who loved her dearly and will, of course, miss her immensely. Yet, this was happy news too because she also left behind a very sick and painful body that was ravaged by cancer.
Most comforting for her family and many friends is the assurance that the moment she left that weak physical body she entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No more suffering. No more pain. No more worries. No more sadness. She has only just begun an eternity of wonderful peace and unspeakable Joy. She is reunited with her beloved mother and other godly loved ones who proceeded her to paradise.
While she was living, we faithfully prayed for her healing. But God's ways are higher than ours; And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) Now we will pray for her husband and their sons for that supernatural peace and comfort that only God can give in times like these. And we will praise and thank God for His great mercy, His amazing grace and His perfect love for this godly young woman and all of us who Love Him; Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones. Maranatha!
