The Joy of Giving

...and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)
Maybe the most selfish thing you can do is to give, because you always receive back much more than you give; It is more blessed to give than to receive. This is only true, of course, when the sincere motive for giving is really not selfish at all, but motivated by selfless love produced by the Holy Spirit.
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have abundance for every good deed. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
Our greatest example of selfless love and giving is God Himself: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:18) Maranatha!
