Glorification

The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. (Romans 8:16, 17)
Someday, every true believer will be glorified with Christ Jesus. No, we won't be deified and become gods, but we will be totally "sanctified" or "holy" as God is holy; As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:14-16)
Our glorification is the finished result of our sanctification, which is the result of our justification; Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
What does it mean then to be glorified with Him? Just as we are now, as believers, spiritually perfected in Christ Jesus, we will be perfected physically with bodies and minds that are without any defects, suited for eternal life with Him. This miraculous glorification of our spirit, soul and body is God's eternal plan and His promise to His children; And these whom He predestined, He also called, and these whom He called, He also justified, and these whom He justified, He also glorified. (Romans 8:30)
Maranatha!
