Such a Magnificent Salvation

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18)
Believers and non-believers alike suffer from the negative consequences of this sinful world. If you live long enough, you will, as the Apostle James writes, encounter various trials including physical infirmities, financial setbacks and hurtful relationships. Christian believers, however, who openly believe, guard, practice and proclaim the gospel will also suffer, to various degrees, hostilities and persecutions because of their faith; Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. (2 Timothy 3:12)
And yet as the Apostle Paul writes; The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. I imagine that trying to explain the glories of heaven to us is like trying to explain to an ant what it is like to be human; for momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.
(2 Corinthians 4:17)
So Christian, stay the course! But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, keep praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. (Jude 20-21)
Such a magnificent salvation awaits us who have believed in Him! Maranatha!
