Is Your Faith Showing?

Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. (James 2:17)
The Bible is clear that our justification and salvation is received by faith alone in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection; For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law. (Romans 3:28)
But the Bible is also clear that a Christian's genuine saving faith will always be shown by his or her righteous works; Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. But someone may well say, "You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works." (James 2:17, 18)
True Christians are instructed, informed, motivated and empowered by the Word of God. In everything, we trust in and are obedient to Him and His Word. As Christians, we have been born into God's family and are called children of God; By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious; anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God... (1 John 3:10)
God, of course, knows who really is and who is not his child. Others will judge our true faith by our confession of faith in Him and by our righteous, biblical words and deeds. Is your faith showing?
