"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. For God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers..." (Romans 1:8-9b)
It has been another amazing year for our Maranatha Bible Church family. The Lord has blessed us more than we could have imagined. We are humbled and so very thankful as we recount the many answered prayers and all that God has done this past year; "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)
During this past year our Church has enjoyed some joyful "mountain-top" experiences, as well as, endured some difficult days walking through the valley. But through them all, God's abundant grace, mercy, peace and love has more than sustained us. We have grieved together when bothers and sisters have been called home to their Lord and we have rejoiced together as others have been "born again" into the family of God. He continues to faithfully provide everything His Church needs, both materially and spiritually. We are indeed blessed! I'm reminded of the song; "Count your blessings... Name them one by one. Count your blessings and see what God has done! Count your many blessings... Name them one by one. Count your many blessings... See what He has done!"
As the Apostle Paul wrote to the Church at Rome; "I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all".Linda and I have been abundantly blessed, edified and nourished by our brothers and sisters at Maranatha Bible Church. What a joy it is to fellowship, pray and worship together each week with such godly people who so love our Lord and each other. And what joy to have the great privilege of teaching and preaching the Bible to Saints that "hunger and thirst for righteousness" and the truth of God's word.
Maranatha Bible Church is looking forward to the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are many signs that "He is near... right at the door!" And if He should tarry, It is our expectation and prayer that the Lord will continue to bless our Church in this coming year to His glory; "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins so that he might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forevermore. Amen" (Galatians 1:3-5). Yes... We are are very blessed! "To God be the glory... Great things He has done!"Maranatha!
