Satan's Big Lie #1- The God of the bible doesn't exist.

"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8:44)
The liar and the father of lies, Satan, and his demonic forces, along with his false teachers, have successfully deceived many people with one obviously absurd big lie-The God of the bible does not exist. I say that this is an obviously absurd big lie because it stands in stark contrast to our common sense; intellectual and scientific honesty; and, of course, biblical truth; For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. (Romans 1:18-19)
Now it is true that "common sense" is not all that common. But anyone who has seen a sunrise, looked at the moon and the stars, considered the trillions of perfectly synchronized human cells in our human bodies or just watched a baby grow should accept the common sense understanding of "intelligent design". The observable evidence is overwhelming that the known universe, earth and all it contains could not just have randomly come into existence. It takes a great deal more faith to believe in foolish things like the big bang theory, evolution and other silly and unscientific speculations than to simply accept, by faith, God's explanation; In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) There is an intelligent designer and He is the God of the bible!
Theologians call this common sense and observable knowledge "General Revelation". As we read in the first chapter of Romans, there is ample "General Revelation" or evidence of the existence of God to condemn anyone who rejects this truth and instead accepts Satan's big lie #1; For since the creation of the world His (God's) invisible attributes, His eternal power and His divine nature, has been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)
In every culture and throughout human history there has been religion, superstition and the worship of a false god or gods. They have worshiped created things like the sun and the moon and graven images of gold and silver rather than the true God of the bible. There are many even our modern day who worship "Mother Nature" rather than the God of the bible who created all things including all nature. Many, who rightly, through "General Revelation", reject Satan's big lie #1 and the foolish human speculations about creation, believe in and worship a false god or gods. But they do not believe in and worship the one and only true God of the bible. Not knowing the almighty God of the Bible who is the creator, they foolishly worship His creation; for even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. (Romans 1:21-23) The God of the bible does exist; And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)
The true knowledge of the God of the bible can only come from what theologians call "Specific Revelation" which we will discuss in the next chapter and which answers Satan's big lie #2-The word of God is not true. Maranatha!
